Thursday, December 8th 2011 at 6pm we will have a Public Hearing to obtain sufficient Vehicle Parking. Located at City Council Chambers 505 South Garey Ave in the City of Pomona and it is open to the public.

12-10-11 Pomona Christmas ParadeThis coming Saturday December 10, 2011 from 10:00 am to 1pm. We are inviting the Hip Hop Community to come and join us celebrate. The Parade is a long standing tradition in the City of Pomona which celebrates community, service and Christmas spirit. We at HHSA were fortunate to be included. Hundreds of families gather along the parade route to cheer on their friend and loved ones who are participating, some for as long as 65 years. We look forward this year to sharing the news about our new home at the gateway to Pomona and our grand opening scheduled for the spring of 2012.
IMPORTANT! To the Hip Hop Community. HIP HOP HAS A HOME NOW. The Hip Hop School of Arts was APPROVE Thursday Morning Sept. 15 around 12:32am after a long night. It took 2 Hours and 45 minutes for all 7 commissioner to vote witha unanimous decision and all in favor of the Project.This is the First time in History in that city officials embrace HIP HOP here in the USA. All Commissioners in the City of Pomona CA Thank all of us for bringing this amazing project. They were all excited and enthusiastic of the project. I want to thank the people that came to the Hearing and everybody else that pray for us. I Thanks you for all your support even those that want to be there. Attention: EMCEE'S & DJ's!!!

The Hip Hop School of Arts Compilation - Volume One will feature new and exclusive songs by some of Hip Hop's greatest and most influential MC's and DJ's of all time. We are looking for young conscious MC's and DJ's to contribute songs and beats which fulfill upon the Mission and Purpose of the school with the possibility of them being included on the album. Some of these artists will also be chosen to collaborate on new songs for the school. This will be an amazing opportunity for young artists to meet and collaborate with some of the music industries most talented, legendary, & successful artists. We are offering you the opportunity to contribute to this historical album.

The Compilation - Volume One will officially be released at the Grand Opening Event of the Hip Hop School of Arts. This will be a promotional album made available at all school fund raising events. Songs from this album will premiere on radio stations as the school is promoted. All artist contributors included on the album will be honored and given the opportunity to perform at the Grand Opening Event. Their names will also be included on an Honorary Contributor's plaque to be placed on display at the school.
A New Movement in Hip Hop!!!

The Compilation - Volume One is a fund raising album for the Hip Hop School of Arts committed to the future of the youth and of Hip Hop itself. This album will source a New Movement in Hip Hop directed by youth empowerment, consciousness, community service, literacy, positivity, and all 7 elements of Hip Hop. Artists are encouraged to produce music and beats true to the original Hip Hop classic styles suitable for Breakin'/B-Boyin', Poppin', Lockin', and freestyle Hip Hop dance. All proceeds from the sale of this album will go to the after-school programs, program equipment, and youth scholarships for the Hip Hop School of Arts, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. All artists whose songs are chosen for the album must sign exclusive rights over to the Hip Hop School of Arts. Tax exemptions are available for all monetary, resource, and service contributions towards this project.
