Lockin' Department The art of Don Comballock dance through playful over-exaggerated gestures, pointing, slapping ankles, and bending elbows into a locked position. 3. MCin' Department The art of vocal expression, lyrical flow and moving a crowd through message, rhythm, rhyme, and reason. (aka "Rap") 4. Breakin'/B-Boyin' Department The art of street dance through spinning and twisting on the floor, footwork, and aerodynamic power moves. (aka "Breakdancing") 5. Urban Art Department The art of creating intricate letters, Characters, color designs and murals with aerosol spray paint and Air Brush. 6. Poppin' Department The art of street dance through powerful muscle contractions, body waving, moon walking, and electrifying animation. 7. Beat Boxin' Department The art of the human beat-box, breath control and rhythm with mouth and hand made sound effects. 8. Hip Hop Dance The art of choreography and freestyle dance, all upper body movement. A mix of many different styles combine example Lockin, Poppin, House dance, B-boyin, Krumpin and Turf dance etc. 9. Merchandising of Hip Hop The merchandise presentation techniques theories of color, concept, customer appeal and lighting. 10. Marketing of Hip Hop The four parts of the marketing mix product, price, promotion and distribution. The Hip Hop School of Arts will consist of the following:
